Currently Playing
Loco Motive
By Cowboy Troy
see related
- I Play Chicken With The Train

I'm totally digging this new singer, Cowboy Troy, right now. He's been touted as the first African-American country star, and he combines down-home country riffs with slick hip hop and heavy metal into a new genre known as Hick-Hop, which really rocks. Tim McGraw is also really cool.

I also did not get into the school of my choice. I think that this is due to racism, because the racist Western power structure does not trust us Asian Americans in positions of power. I do I also have chronic fatigue syndrome and immunodeficiency, which I think is a result of evil witches in school putting intractable hexes on me. (You know who you are. Now 'fess up.)

Asian Media Watch
Tuesday, February 8, 2005

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Sources have informed us that Hot 97 has now postponed the Wednesday return of the "Miss Jones in the Morning" show.

Thank you all for your support one of the many campaigns against Hot 97. And thanks to those of you who participated in our Tuesday Call-in Day to 'Hate 97' Radio. We're doing our best to invite as many people as possible to join our call-in days. So far we've invited only a fraction of the thousands who've e-mailed us, as well as reaching out to many more through our website. If you didn't receive an invitation to join our first call-in day, here's another chance.

Hot 97 has fired producer Rick Del Gado and host Todd Lynn, and extended Miss Jone's suspension. This a good start but much more must be done. Firings and suspensions are not enough because Hot 97 management can simply hire new hate producers and DJs. We must change Hot 97 and Emmis Communications culture, one that condoned, produced, and repeatedly broadcast the Tsunami Song.

Please forward this note to anyone who is disgusted by Hot 97's Tsunami Song, and join us in calling Hot 97 and Emmis on Thursday, February 10.

Download and print the full-color quarter sheets, and hand them out in your community or campus at:
http://www.asianmediawatch.net/missjones/stophate97radio2.pdf

If you want us to put your non-profit group's name and website link on the quarter sheet for you to distribute, please e-mail us at alerts@asianmediawatch.net

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! :D

Friday, February 04, 2005

Man, some shirts should not be worn in school. Today while walking to music class, I saw a young boy sporting a very strange shirt. It had a toilet with a knife in it, and the caption: 'Metal Up Your A--'. What the heck is that? Uh uh. I mean, it was as funny as junk but there has got to be something seriously wrong with that kid.
